COX IN MY EAR
Cox: Hi how can I help you today?
Me: Morning just got home from a mini Christmas vacation and my internet is not working.
Cox: Are you connected directly to the cable modem or wireless?
Me: Directly. I'm gonna set up my wireless later on. Anyway I have tried EVERYTHING. Setting it up on my computer, resetting the cable box, resetting the cable modem, changing the ethernet cables, unplugging and re-plugging the cox cable, switching ports and plugs. And for just shits and giggles, I even turned my computer ON & OFF.
Cox: Sir, how many lights do you see on your cable modem.
Me: One.
Cox: is it yellow?
Me: Yellow or Orange not sure, why?
Cox: Sir, your modem is on sleep mode. There should be a switch on top of it.
Me: .....
Cox: Is the internet working now?
Me: ....yes.
**THIS HAS TO BE TE SECOND TIME I FORGOT ABOUT THE STAND-BY BUTTON LOL**
